Why am I studying Japanese?

I am studying Japanese because I have friends studying in Japan. My friend is studying Economics in Osaka University. I will soon visit Osaka to meet him and meet his friends. I hope to talk to them in Japanese. Also, I loved traveling Japan before and planning on traveling there once more. Next time when I visit Japan, I want to talk in Japanese. I am excited that now I can read Japanese hiragana. Writing hiragana sentences was difficult for me, because the sentence structure is different.

  1. Having friends in Japan is really cool, and I also want to go to Japan sometime as well, even though I have been there before. I think that visiting Osaka would be super cool! Hiragana is definitely hard, I am also dying trying to remember them all! :)

  2. Being able to visit Japan sounds really cool! I agree that the sentence structure of Japanese is hard; it's very different from English :)

  3. When you visit Osaka you should try and take a train to Kyoto too. The mountains and temples around the city are some of the most beautiful in Japan. And when you're in Osaka don't miss Osaka-jo castle!
